We’re putting the final touches on The Doutta Galla Hotel – or as locals know it, “The Doot.”
It’s been a huge job getting her to where she is today, and we can’t thank the team at Eave, our shareholders, the Kickon crew, and everyone else who’s played a part in bringing her back to life enough.
This three-storey icon has been completely transformed, with four brand-new bars and energy restored to all levels. We’ve kept her character intact, preserving the original brickwork and fireplaces, reusing timber throughout the building, and even crafting steak knives from the old doors. And of course, those iconic red doors are still right where they belong.
We can’t wait to open up and welcome the community back in, coming very soon, just in time for Spring Carnival.
